TIP: Rainbow Six 3 Gold Raven Shield - Maps Downloading again? Cache

If you find that maps are downloading on a server you usually play on, and they are maps that you already know for sure that you have.

Check your Ravenhield.ini Configuration file in the System folder of your game folder.
Open in Notepad.
Find:

[Core.System]
PurgeCacheDays=30

Change that value to whatever you want.
That is the value for the length of time that your game keeps cache files you've downloaded while playing.
